  1. Another great review, Professor!

Captain Universe is one of those neat gimmick characters I'm eager to read more of, and I forgot this was his debut issue. Back in the 90s, there was a promo book where people could have their own name inserted as one of Captain Universe's hosts, so for one issue ordered by my dad, Noel Thingvall did indeed get to be Captain Universe for a day. :)

  2. great issue indeed and hearing it retold to that music in the back ground was a riot. ever wonder what that cover would have looked like with ROM on it? well, wonder no more http://romspaceknightart.blogspot.com/2012/03/rom-herald-of-galactus-by-scott-reed.html

    2. thanks, i started it shortly after i discovered how much fanfare there was on the internet for the big silver guy. but i was finding site after site featuring the same back ground information and clip art over and over again. on one hand i featured i appreciated all the enthusiasm but felt like the redundancy was so tiresome. so i decided to come up with something that would provide the average ROM fan boy out there with something new to read and look at. over the years i've had some things going for me to help make that happen one of which were some great people who shared with me some rare or other wise little known vintage ROM related tidbits. second i happen to be an artist myself so a lot of the fan art i post comes directly from me in which obviously it is something no one has seen prior to me posting it.
